  1. When I see others I first notice their smile. I notice their smile first to see if there happy I watch facial expressions and make sure there okay. When people look at me I want them to notice my personally that I'm happy and my smile

    1. Looking at others, I see their mood based on their facial expressions. Whether they're smiling or upset. When people first see me I'd like them to see my smile, I would like them to know my personality is mostly positive and happy :) - KL & HB

  2. Oh, I like that! I do that too! I try to help someone who is not happy, not acting like they usually do. When people smile at me, it brightens my day. I smile at others in the hopes that I might make their day a little happier.

  6. I think that this book teaches us not just about gender equality but also about caring and Being who you are and expressing your inner self. As it says in the story Lily wanted to be a girl but his dad doesn't want him to change his gender. I think that the theam of the story *Lily and dunkin* is truthfulness and kindness

  7. Some things that people first notice about others is their hair colour, their gender,, and the colour of their skin. Like it said in the video, people focus too much on people's labels instead of getting past that and actually getting to know someone. And as Lily stated in the book, even babies' favourite colour is determined by their gender. Pink for girls, and blue for boys. What if a boy likes pink, or a girl likes blue? It even happens at birth. ~RS, a student from EMK

We want to imagine what might happen if we showed this video to all the World Leaders:
    - maybe they would stop using hurtful labels
    - maybe people would stop fighting against other races
    - maybe we could stop racist stereotypes
    - maybe people could be comfortable in their own skin
    - maybe people would feel safe expressing themselves

  9. The first thing I see when I look at someone is there facial expressions to make sure they are okay and happy. If they're happy and okay that's amazing, but if they're sad or mad I'll ask them what's wrong and try to cheer them up and make them happy 🙂

  10. I think this video was very brave of them, not only telling the internet there story of how they both were born in the wrong bodies & were able to change it and become who they truley are is inspiring. Especially since they are now together because I think the best people who would understand what they went through is someone who went through the same thing.
